CROP HUNGER WALK: OCTOBER 11, 2020
BLANK SLATE WALKERS: We will walk the long loop of the Fish Hatchery Parkway (6 miles). We will meet in the parking lot of the Fish Hatchery at 1:00. Please bring masks and water bottle and snack if desired. I will have a snack to share when we return. The CROP WALK raises money for people who are food insecure locally and globally. This year, more people are without food than in previous years we have walked. Children are particularly vulnerable. Three ways for you to participate:
- To register to walk, go to: https://www.crophungerwalk.org/allentownpa. Click on register. After you complete giving your info, they will ask if you want to register with a team. Fill in Blank Slate and this should register you with our team.
- If you can’t walk or are uncomfortable walking during COVID, please help us to raise funds. You can raise money on line through our BLANK SLATE CROP HUNGER WALK TEAM PAGE found here: www.crophungerwalk.org/allentownpa/blankslate. You can share this link on social media and with your friends.
- You can collect monies from your friends via checks made out to: “CROP HUNGER WALK”. Donations are fully tax deductible. Please send any collected checks/cash to me by Oct 5: Sue Pizor Yoder 5181 Gary Drive Emmaus, PA 18049
