Community Garden season is happening now!
Oct 3 will be our next Slater Soup Sale. For those of you who have helped to make the soup (which is a far majority of you!)…please hold 8-2 for our soup making fundraiser. We made almost $5000 on our last soup sale. We have them twice a year. See the Slater Soup tab for more details!
Save the date for the annual Greater Allentown CROP Walk: October 18 at 1:30. This is a wonderful way to help our food insecure neighbors both locally and beyond. If you’d like to join the team, reach out to Sue! If you’d like to donate towards the team, click here: Blank Slate Team
Ripple provides meals to our Allentown neighbors who are homeless or recovering from addiction, and others who are generally marginalized in our society. It is Blank Slate’s hope to make and serve a healthy dinner once a month and to build relationships with our Ripple friends. Ripple is described as “a Christ-centered community-focused church seeking to have a ripple-effect in our neighborhoods and beyond by loving ourselves, our neighbors, and one another as we live towards peace and justice in Allentown.” You can find out more about Ripple here.
