Interested in supporting a group of friends who live in the city and struggle economically, sometimes socially, and often mentally? Ripple provides meals to our Allentown neighbors who are homeless or recovering from addiction, and others who are generally marginalized in our society. It is Blank Slate’s hope to make and serve a healthy dinner once a month and to build relationships with our Ripple friends.Ripple is described as “a Christ-centered community-focused church seeking to have a ripple-effect in our neighborhoods and beyond by loving ourselves, our neighbors, and one another as we live towards peace and justice in Allentown.” You can find out more about Ripple here. Come join us as we prepare a meal and then share it with our friends in downtown Allentown through assisting Ripple. Contact kim@blankslatecommunity.com for more information.
